Journal of Religion, Conflict, and Peace is a peer reviewed, open access, online journal published by Earlham, Goshen, and Manchester Colleges. It addresses both the problem of religion and conflict and the possibility and practices of peace, giving particular attention to peace. Each issue of the journal contains a section of book reviews. The journal provides a free copy of the book to each reviewer six months before publication. Deadlines for book reviews are June 1 for the fall issue and January 1 for the spring issue. Contact the managing editor at jrcp@plowsharesproject.org to request a book to review. Use the following guidelines for your review and submit the completed review to jrcp@plowsharesproject.org
Please provide:
1. Book reviews: up to 1000 words; Book review essays: up to 8000 words
2. Complete bibliography (Chicago Manual of Style).
3. Review of up to 1000 words. Review may include:
4. Reviewer’s full name and institution
5. Double space the review, using one inch margins all around, and Times New Roman (11 pt).
6. Use the tab key to indent. Do not use spaces to indent.
7. Write in an academic style, but one that is accessible to users from other disciplines. The journal is multi-disciplinary. Do not assume that all users will understand the terminology of your field of study.
8. Do not use other formatting, such as single spacing for quotations, various type faces, varieties of type sizes for headings or subheadings.
9. Verify that all material is original or properly cited.
